It's that time of year again - Fathers Day, Sunday September 4th.

And to celebrate, Australian Poetry is running an event to celebrate fathers, fatherhood and all things related, in partnership with the Melbourne Writers Festival to kick off National Poetry Week starting the next day (Sept 5).

Join us at the Wheeler Centre on Sunday September 4th at 1:15pm sharp to hear poets Chris Wallace-Crabbe, Emily Manger and others speak and read about fatherhood.

To commemorate the occasion, Australian Poetry has produced a collection of poetry about fatherhood called Dear Dad. A collaboration between Australian Poetry, Relationships Australia and Melbourne artists Gracia and Louise, this beautifully designed anthology contains contributions from John Clarke and Alan Brough; esteemed Australian poet, Chris Wallace-Crabbe; a host of established poets; as well as children who are being published for the first time.
