EOI’s will be accepted until Sunday, 19 August, 2018.  

Bimblebox 153 Birds is a creative exploration of the bird species that inhabit the Bimblebox Nature Refuge. With spoken word, music and fine art prints, writers, musicians and artists have engaged with the bird species that make this threatened habitat their home.

The bird species currently available are:

Pacific Baza   Aviceda subcristata

Painted Button Quail   Turnix varius

Peregrine Falcon   Falco peregrinus

Pink-eared Duck   Malacorhynchus membranaceus

Spotted Nightjar   Eurostopodus argus

Writers interested in contributing are asked to complete an EOI and contact form.

Writers selected from the EOI’s will be asked to contribute poetry or prose 200 words or less, about their particular bird species.  Each writers completed work will be contributed via an audio file (of them reading their writing) and a word file.
