Anyone who has written a book, or has the desire to write and/or publish a book should come to these FREE sessions to learn the tips and pitfalls when it comes to getting published in Australia. No bookings necessary for these sessions.

The forum has been made possible thanks to a community grant from Darwin City Council.

Saturday, October 14, 1pm to 5pm, at the Northern Territory Library (in Parliament House).

1.15pm How to get an agent, with Tara Wynne from Curtis Brown Literary Agents.

2.15pm The pros and cons of self-publishing with Euan Mitchell, author of ‘Your Book Publishing Options’, and marketing advice from author Anna Campbell.

3.15pm Publishing children’s and YA books, with Clair Hume from Affirm Press in Melbourne.

4.15pm Meet some local NT authors, including writer/illustrator Paul Seden, and YA author Clare Atkins.

There will also be workshops running on Saturday and Sunday, October 14-15.
