Martin Harrison Archive Launch

Celebrating Martin Harrison

We are celebrating two events:

The completion of the Guide to the Martin Harrison Archives. The physical archives are now held at the Institute of Postcolonial Studies (IPCS). The completion of a comprehensive Index is a major event. It marks the threshold of a new chapter in the circulation and appreciation of Martin’s unique voice, style and achievement.

The securing of Martin’s remarkable poetry library though the generosity of the Institute of Postcolonial Studies.

We hope the celebration of these two events inaugurates a new set of friendships and meetings, across interests, disciplines and vocations. An occasion for new conversation. This is what Martin did so well.

To make the most of this, we ask your active promotion and engagement and most of all your presence.

Join us at 6 for a 6:30pm start,

November 15 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

After an introduction to the Archive, there will be readings, including a recording of Martin.

Copies of his books will be available.

At Martin’s posthumous insistence, the champagne will be French.
