All are welcome to the final Saturdays of this season featuring, direct from Victoria, Bonny Cassidy, Anthony Lawrence, Bec Jessen and Raelee Lancaster.

Bonny Cassidy is the author of three poetry collections, and lectures in Creative Writing at RMIT University, Melbourne. She is feature reviews editor of Cordite Poetry Review and co-editor of the Anthology of Contemporary Australian Feminist Poetry (Hunter Publishers, 2016). Bonny’s essays of criticism and poetics have been published widely in Australia and internationally.

Anthony Lawrence‘s most recent book is ‘101 Poems (Pitt Street Poetry, 2018). A new collection, ‘The Side the Weather Does Not Love’ is forthcoming late in 2018. He teaches Writing Poetry at Griffith university.

Bec Jessen lives in Brisbane. She is the award-winning author of verse-novel Gap (UQP 2014). In 2017 Rebecca was shortlisted for the Arts QLD Val Vallis Award for an Unpublished Poem. She is the winner of the 2015 QLD Premier’s Young Publishers and Writers Award. Her book Gap was shortlisted for the 2015 Sisters In Crime Davitt Award for Best Debut Book.

Raelee Lancaster is a Brisbane-based poet and research assistant. Her work has featured in Rabbit, Voiceworks, Westerly: Flux, as well as other print and online publications. In 2018, Raelee was awarded first place for the Nakata Brophy Short Fiction and Poetry Prize for Young Indigenous Writers. Find Raelee on Twitter @raeleelancaster
