In his famous poem, Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night, Dylan Thomas exhorted us to ‘rage against the dying of the light’. In these troubled times, it can seem, however, as though the shadows only lengthen. How can poetry be a form of defiance in the face of our encroaching mortality and resist the withering of our hopes and dreams? In this special event, an electrifying line-up of poets from around the country confront the darkness head on, offering us, despite it all, a path towards hope.

Featuring Sarah-Holland Batt, Jazz Money, Melanie Mununggurr, Sarah Day, Penny Drysdale, Kelly Lee Hickey, Alexandra C. Steffan, Rose Lucas, Rhix Ocampo and Tutup Mulut (music), and others.
