Dear Subscribers, Contributors and AP Supporters,

As always, thank-you for being part of the Australian Poetry community. Regarding APJ 11.2, now in production, the difficult decision has been made for financial reasons to only publish poems that were directly commissioned by guest editors Bella Li and Corey Wakeling. This has been approved by funders. This is a decision similar to one that needed to be made for APJ 10.2, when Covid impacts on our editorial team meant we were not able to publish poems from an open call-out. APJ 11.2 will still be absolutely incredible—we will post soon on pub-date and release details. We understand this is a serious decision, but it is also one we feel is fiscally wise and necessary. We also write this as poets who contributed to the original APJ 11.2 call-out may wish to now send these poems elsewhere.

The AP Anthology Vol. 9 (2021-2022) is being mailed shortly to contributors and subscribers. Its Kaskad sky-blue cover looks absolutely stunning—with profound thanks to designer Stuart Geddes. Thank you also to the Centre for Stories for partnering with us across this Volume – as well as an exciting upcoming WA launch to be announced shortly!

To buy individual copies of the Anthology, please email your order, specifying the number of copies and postal address, to: associate@australianpoetry.org
