From the Queensland Poetry Festival website:

A co-production of Flying Arts and Queensland Poetry Festival, the QRAA Ekphrasis Challenge asks poets Australia-wide to respond to eight artworks in the Queensland Regional Arts Awards 2020. The selected poet for each of the eight categories will receive a publication fee of $500. The six winning artworks will have their matching winning poem featured on a didactic panel in the touring Decadence exhibition, while the two winning poems that respond to the two People’s Choice artworks will be featured on the Flying Arts Alliance website.

PLEASE NOTE: The QRAA artworks by Paul Perry and Edwin Hamill are part of the QRAA People’s Choice Category, and are not included as touring artworks with the QRAA. The selected poems for these artworks will therefore be published on the Flying Arts Alliance website instead of in the touring exhibition. The selected poet for each of these artworks will still receive a $500 publication fee.

FAA Alliance is a not-for-profit arts and cultural development organisation providing projects and services throughout Queensland with the assistance of the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, the University of Southern Queensland and corporate partners and benefactors.

The QRAA Challenge is supported by Australian Poetry via the Cultural Fund.
