A lively afternoon of poetry and discussion in celebration of the life and work of much loved Australian poet Francis Webb (1925-73).

Hosted by MC Toby Davidson (Macquarie University, editor of Webb’s Collected Poems) and special guests:

  • Craig Munro, writer and publisher
  • Meg Stewart, filmmaker, author and daughter of Douglas Stewart
  • Oliver Miller, filmmaker in the process of filming Webb’s ‘Electric’
  • Gareth Jenkins, poet, artist, academic and librarian
  • Peter Rogers, poet and scholar
  • Achala Green, poet and poetry facilitator

Plus representatives from Webb’s two high schools, St Pius X Chatswood and Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham
