A lively afternoon of poetry and discussion in celebration of the life and work of much loved Australian poet Francis Webb (1925-73).
Hosted by MC Toby Davidson (Macquarie University, editor of Webb’s Collected Poems) and special guests:
- Craig Munro, writer and publisher
- Meg Stewart, filmmaker, author and daughter of Douglas Stewart
- Oliver Miller, filmmaker in the process of filming Webb’s ‘Electric’
- Gareth Jenkins, poet, artist, academic and librarian
- Peter Rogers, poet and scholar
- Achala Green, poet and poetry facilitator
Plus representatives from Webb’s two high schools, St Pius X Chatswood and Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham
