Cherry Poets are proud to present the all online in-lockdown event for Claire Gaskin’s latest book ‘Ismene’s Survivable Resistance’ published by Puncher & Wattmann. On Zoom, since we can’t be at our beloved Cherrytree Hotel.
So how does the event work? Let us explain.
The first half of the event will be our usual open mic from 2pm. Sign up by hitting the MC (Steve) up in the Zoom chat room when you enter, and you go on the list.

And then after a short break where we can all chat amongst ourselves, it will be launch time around 3.45pm.
The launch will feature Gayelene Carbis, Gabrielle Everall, Marion May Campbell, and Geraldine Burrowes reading their poems, and of course Claire Gaskin herself reading from the new book (but of course!), while Dominique Hecq will handle launch speech honours. Plus special guests that are secret and we’re not telling.
