Gran Slam Workshops

Gran Slam is an exciting performance poetry project delivered by Feros Care and Everybody NOW.

Fifteen seniors aged 70 and over from the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers region will have the chance to participate in two workshops led by renowned poet and literary performer, David Stavanger. The project will culminate in a performance that will be captured on film and screened at a Feros Care bespoke event at Byron Writers Festival.

You are eligible if you:
– have a knack for words or a love for literature;
– love poetry, write poetry, or are interested in learning to write poetry;
– are full of ideas and want to give voice to them;
– have a voice to be heard or opinion to be penned.
