Saturday 6 November 9am till 12pm on Zoom

What are the crossovers or connections between poetry and architecture? What happens when we think of a poem as a house, or a  building as a poem? How might architecture be signified or reflected in poetry through subject matter and/or structure? This workshop – which coincides with a current open call for submissions to Rabbit‘s 35th issue, themed ‘Architecture’ – will consider these questions and more, through close readings of poems and writing exercises.

Jessica Wilkinson is Editor-in-chief of Rabbit: a journal for nonfiction poetry. She teaches in the Creative Writing program at RMIT University.
