Saaro Umar is a writer and artist. Her work has been published in Australia Poetry, Cordite, Scum and expound among others.

Frankie Hanman Siegersma is a poet, essayist, radio producer and librarian living in Narrm on Wurundjeri country. Writing of theirs has been published in Cordite, Australian Poetry online, Suburban Review, Scum and Hunter Anthology of Contemporary Feminist Poetry.

Crdio- Tyson Campbell is a Narrm/Melbourne based multi-disciplinary artist who’s work is engaged in the relationship between settler and indigenous imaginaries. Tyson has exhibited in ‘blakqueer futurism’ at Blak-Dot (2018), ’Põuliuli (Faitautusi ma fā’alinga)’ at Westspace (2017), ‘Emerging Cultural Leaders Exhibition’ at Footscray Community Arts Centre (2017), “Why we should listen to animals”, an RMIT group show in association with Liquid Architecture (2016).

In 2017, Tyson curated three shows including; “Disconnection and Reconnection” at Blak-Dot gallery, ‘Lobster II’ at Zambesi Melbourne and ‘High-Pile Low-Pile’ at Magic Johnston studio. Tyson is also part of the Pacifika collective “Newway finders’

Accessibility:

IRL is wheelchair accessible but it is also a small space and we ask attendees to be aware of the needs of those around them. If you are able to we ask you to give up your chair or find one for people who may need one and make room for people with differing mobilities. We will keep the entrance way as clear as possible and make room at the front for those using mobility aids.

There is lots of seating available on fold out chairs, there are also some sturdy chairs and some cushions.

IRL is located 550m from Tottenham station and 60m from the 220 bus going towards Sunshine and 80m from the 220 bus going towards Gardenvale (towards city).
